Understanding math with Anchondroplasia
Unlike the other disorders I have mentioned so far, disorder does not affect a persons learning ability. For the most part, nothing that involves understanding, not only math, but other subjects as well would be delayed due to this disorder. The one thing that might interact with their learning would be if they have issues ivolving their brain. One example would be if they had the building up of fluid near their brain.
Science relating to Ancondroplasia
Achondroplasia is caused by the mutation in the FGFR3 gene. The FGR3 gene is involved with the development of brain tissues and bone development. This gene is the cause for protein that helps with the develpment of bone. When this gene is overactive or underactive (does too much or does too little) then the skeletal development gets messed up along the way.
Some of the information used this far came from this website and could be looked at if wanting to look for more information.
History of achondroplasia
The gene that is the cause for this disorder was found in
1994 by a doctor named John Wasmuth. In ancient Egypt people with achondroplsia were used for subjects of art. Some of Egyptian gods seemed to appear to have anchonroplasia. Throughout history, many superstitions were associated with achondroplasia. It was thought that this disorder came to be due to a act from demons and as a punishment by the gods.

Example of the art people with achondroplasia ->
were used for.

Achondroplsia relating to Language Arts
Achondroplasia means a skeletal disorder beginning before birth. Achondroplasia is very rarely used as a noun. It's synonyms are achondroplasty and chondrodystrophy. Achondroplasia has only one meaning unlike other words. (Ex. there, their, they're)
Achondroplasia relating to Reading
As I mentioned earlier when discussing learning with math, Achondroplasia doesn't affect a persons learning ability. A person who has this disorder would be able to read as well as a person who does not have achondroplasia. Only in rare cases including medical issues with the brain would have a chance of affecting a persons ability to read.
